Bravada Cycling

Two-piece biker chic outfit
5" H X 9.5" W X 9.5" L

Price $SOLD

It was made using only recycled and vintage bicycle parts. When I was growing up, bicycles represented freedom and gave me some much-appreciated independence. While wearing brassieres has never given me the same joy as those bike rides, this piece evokes both the independence I felt riding my bike and the freedom I feel when I'm creating. It reminds me, too, of Susan B. Anthony (one of America's first leaders of the women's rights movement) who said, "She who succeeds in gaining the mastery of the bicycle will gain the mastery of life."

Bravada Cycling is the winner of the Sustainability Award in the 2016 World of Wearable Art show in Wellington, New Zealand.
Bravada Cycling has been sold to the World of Wearable Art Museum
